Top Tourist Attractions In Birmingham

Birmingham is the UK’s second biggest city, after the capital London. As the cultural center of the West Midlands Birmingham offers visitors and enormous range of entertainment and activities. If you are touring the United Kingdom then Birmingham should be on your list of cities to visit.

Here are just a handful of the attractions that Birmingham has to offer:

Birmingham Cathedral: This is one of the city’ss most beautiful historic buildings. Built in 1725 the building boasts no less than four Pre-Raphaelite stained-glass windows.

The Royal Air Force Museum: This is where you will find a fantastic display of aviation history. You’ll find over seventy aircraft housed in three wartime hangars. You’ll see Spitfires, Hurricanes, Vulcans and more. Highly recommended!

And if you are touring with your family there is no shortage of places to visit for some fantastic days out. Here are a few suggestions:

Second City Canal Cruises: This is great fun. I can strongly recommend a canal boat cruise which is what I did with my family last year.

The National Sea Life Centre: There are in excess of sixty rare maritime species on display in this National center.

Newbrook Farm Experience: This is the perfect place for animal lovers. You will see many rare and ancient breeds that can’t be found elsewhere.

Woodgate Valley Country Park: This beautiful park is ideal for those who like to walk in the countryside. There is a working farm that offers a play area and a pony trekking center which is ideal for children.

These are just a small selection of the places that Birmingham has to offer. I’ver personally visited all of these, and more, and all should be on your ‘must visit’ list when you go to Birmingham.

For a great deal on Birmingham airport parking or Birmingham airport hotels always book in advance. And there are some Birmingham airport hotels with parking that can save you even more money.

I am employing a totally different browser than most people, referred to as Opera, so that is what might be causing it? I just wanted to make sure you know.
